HSS Roman Army Conquers All!

On Friday we did the masked parade and we were a roman army. Our helmets were made from card board crowns and paper mo-hawks. Our shields were made out of thick card board with a bear for courage our school values and the number five in roman numerals. We all wore tunics made from newspaper and painted gold.

The Parade was extremely fun and our school won 'best school'. Every minute the whistle would blow and we would all huddle up. Ten seconds later the whistle would blow again and we'd duck down and do the turtle. The teachers would stay up though a pretend to get shot! The best thing about the Parade was watching the teachers howling in pain as they pretended to die.
